If you place less than a 20% down payment on you home, you could be forced to buy PMI insurance, (private mortgage insurance). Not only does the PMI monthly premium cost add an extra cost to your monthly mortgage payment, if you get into a car accident, even if you are not at fault, and miss work as a result and fall behind on your mortgage, the bank can file a claim against your PMI!

Once the bank files a claim against your PMI, they can refuse any future mortgage payments from you, and then foreclose on your home. Like they did to this family.

3 years into Obama's first term and NO CHANGE in the foreclosure rate.

The solution to lowering foreclosures was simple. Calculate a homeowners monthly overhead based on a 4% mortgage rate and all of their credit card debt at 9.99%. If those two interest rates put a homeowner into the black, and they agree to NOT run up more credit card debt, then they get those two interest rates.

That's all that had to be done, and Obama refused to do it, making him a fraud and those in the media who chose Obama over Hillary Clinton, it's on your head and I hope one day you get yours, you certainly deserve it.

Instead, the foreclosure rate has not changed during Obama's term, and ironically, interest rates are heading downwards anyways.

Here is a classic example of a Subprime Mortgage Foreclosure Concern Troll comment from the comments section of a Foreclosure article in the San Francisco Weekly. See if you can spot the bullshit.

"I bought a house with a interest only ARM, There was no bait and switch. I knew exactly what I was getting into. I read the paperwork, I knew the risks. Is it partially the banks fault....for sure.

They know the risks for the people taking out the loans and shame on them for creating such products as interest only ARMs and the like. But shame on the people taking out the loans for not understanding what they were getting into.

I was fortunate enough to sell my home before it lost value and before I started paying the principal. I had I stayed in that area longer, I would have been screwed. It would have been my own fault for putting myself in the situation. Live and learn and I won't by another home until I can put a good amount down and get a standard loan.

Further, I have no animosity towards my neighbor. I'm just tired of people not taking responsibility for their own actions. I got a degree in Sanskrit and I can't find a job.....someone else's fault. I had to compete with the Jones' and max out my credit cards, took out a home loan I couldn't afford and lived outside of my means.........not my fault. Its the American way. Which of course detracts from those who REALLY are in need."

In case you did not spot the concern troll bullshit, it basically comes down to this, "It's me, not the banks, the bankers, or wall street that did wrong". And the comment was left by "anonymouse" (yes, spelled with the word mouse.

I suggest studying the tone of the concern troll method, Barack Obama's side used concern troll tactics in 2008 to try and quell Hillary Clinton supporters.

Consumerist Reports "Chase decides not to evict 103 year old woman after deputies and movers refuse to help". Maybe Chase Bank should take some of their empty apartment properties and start moving all the people they foreclose into them.

I don't even know if I am writing that with sarcasm, snark, anger, frustration, or incredulousness because Chase Bank tenements would actually be more humane than what they are presently doing.

Shame on Chase Bank.

If a homeowner has built up ample home equity in their home and falls behind on their payments because of medical issues, the logical, humane and responsible course of action would be to allow the homeowner to use up a portion of their home equity before foreclosing on them.

I don't know if the Frank Hartman fits that profile, but would it have mattered to the banksters whether he did or did not?

I found an internet site called Sara's Home. I don't know if Sara's Home is still active or not as the last update that I saw was from 2009. If you click on the link make sure to scroll down the page so that you can read about Sarah.

However, I commend the concept. I don't know the person and I would not recommend making a donation until I contacted the person running Sara's Home, and even then I would wait until I saw signs that the site was being updated at least one a week or twice a month.

However, Sara's home is a noble idea.

It does seem as if it takes the community to step in and help a cancer victim and their family stay in their home when the threat of foreclosure is real. But sometimes, cancer victims and their families stay to themselves and the reasons are somewhat obvious.

The more attention drawn to the family, the more draining the explaining and re-explaining of the situation can be. Energy needed to just get by on a day to day basis is instead siphoned off to either fight the foreclosure, or that energy may be used to help enlist the energy of the community to help fight off the cancerous banksters.

Something needs to change, no?

From the picture, Stuart Bingley seems like a really good guy. He seems like a tough but fair man, a responsible man who respects the law and values taking care of his family, a stand up guy.

Yes, I see all of that from the picture above. Mr. Bingley gets hit with cancer, and the banking vermin come out to pick at him as he fights his cancer as they threaten foreclosure.

Stuart Bingley has passed now, but are his former tormentors still being paid handsomely to torment others?

This is a pretty sad story.

While the eviction that caused this family to be evicted from a home they were renting was not directly caused by a bank, the eviction was caused by a family member of the actual homeowner needing a place to live after being foreclosed on, by a bank.

This resulted in the family renting the home being kicked out of the home several months before they were planning on leaving.

Apparently the father commutes to his old job when the daughter was then diagnosed with cancer.

Did MSNBC read UnFair Foreclosures February's theme to create the Jamie Dimon story about unfair military foreclosures?

I have been blogging for almost three years and have written over 1,500 articles. When I created UNfair Foreclosures earlier this month I had a sense it would click. Soon after, I did something I had not done on any of my previous blogs. I came up with monthly themes for the first two months of the year and publicly posted them several days ago. I then expanded the list a few days ago all the way through June of 2011.

My thinking was, if anybody from the media got wind of my blog, and saw my upcoming monthly foreclosure themes, and beat me to the punch and did their own foreclosure story, that that would actually be a good thing as it would give me more material to link to by the time I got to that specific monthly topic.

I can't say for sure that there is a connection between my theme of the months which have been up for several days along with February being Military unfair foreclosures, and the MSNBC January 17th, 2011 story that Chase Bank and Jamie Dimon may have foreclosed on many military personnel who were serving their country, but if UNfair Foreclosures was the inspiration, then that's a good thing.

I would love to be credited however if there was a connection.

I meant to add to the military personnel listing that unfair foreclosure stories about police, fire and parademics would also be included during February.

Hopefully more reporters will show up and perhaps use UNfair Foreclosures blog to do quick research on existing unfair foreclosure cases and maybe even do follow up stories as to the final damage the banksters did to those whom they unfairly foreclosed upon.

This story of elderly home care foreclosure eviction received very little publicity, so I can't verify that anyone of the evicted had cancer. The likelihood was somebody among the elderly that were evicted had cancer, and besides, evicting elderly eople who can't fend for themselves and were in the care of others doesn't even seem legal, does it?

Especially when they had paid their rent!

If you are a reporter and HAVE read the story link above, I would like to suggest that researching financial information regarding homeowners that take such drastic measures as murder suicide and burning down their own home should be part of your research.

Did the bank foreclose when the home may have still had equity left in it? Might either a re-fi or reverse mortgage allowed the couple to get by on SS plus the reverse mortgage? Was the wife collecting SS and the husband just two years away from collecting SS himself and allowing them a reverse mortgage or simply to raise the home equity line of credit would have allowed them to buy the time they needed?

A husband caretaking for a cancer stricken wife cannot work and take care of his wife. Why does our government, that was so big on healthcare reform, continue to ignore caretakers who do the right thing and take care of their own cancer stricken family?

Caretaking for a cancer stricken family member is a full time, unpaid job, meaning the husband COULD NOT WORK. The husband would not be allowed to request a home equity line increase out of the home even if equity was there, because the homeowner is not employed.

So it is possible that the banksters unwillingness to allow any nest egg money sitting in the home to be taken out just galled this despondent homeowner so much that he was not going to allow a bankster to steal what he had put into the home via a premature foreclosure.

Basically, banks have set the HELOC worst case scenario threshold at around 60-65% of the value of a paid off home. If the home is not paid off, the HELOC may still be around 65% the value of what has been paid down off of the value of the home. The idea being that if the home is foreclosed and resold, the banks should break even at worse even if the homeowner maxed out their HELOC.

But in the past two years, banks have clamped down on HELOC's above and beyond their own safety threshold, resulting in class action lawsuits against them.

If there had been any remaining equity in the burned down home before it was burned down, it could have bought this couple the time they needed to plan for the next couple of years. I bring the home equity issue up because I could see a man burning down his own home so the banksters don't get the sweat and equity he put into the home over the prior 10 years that the banksters are not allowing him to access.

It is simplistic to state that the man committed murderer suicide because of foreclosure IF the facts present themselves that this was an UNFAIR FORECLOSURE.

One could say, well, if the banks had given the homeowner a higher home equity line of credit, he would just burned the house down when that additional money ran out. Not necessarily true. If the homeowner, in his heart knows that he has tapped the home of all that is reasonable to tap, he might not wait until the last minute and use the last 10 or 20 grand to move out of the home voluntarily and use that savings to tide them over until SS kicks in.

But without any available equity, this particular homeowner may have been literally trapped with no options, specifically because of his cancer stricken wife.

Is it possible that the banks DON'T CARE that the homeowner burned down his own home? If I were an insurance company about to pay the bank a claim because of the fire, I would consider denying the claim if the bank did not allow the homeowner access to legitimate home equity built up in the home, and give Bank induced stress as the cause of the fire.

But it's not just the banksters, it's Barack Obama's administration showboating the "success" of their health care legislation while ignoring the plight of the cancer stricken homeowner or family member that reduces the homeowner's ability to work that I am finding to be inconsistent, and deadly to honorable family trying to do the right thing and caretake a cancer stricken family member.

But hey, Barack Obama gave a great speech in Tucson, Arizona last night.

You see, the aftermath of a bat crazed killer remains news for weeks because it's about the little people hurting politicians and other little people, but cancer fighters being done in by their banks, that happens every day in this country and is not worthy of the president's time because it's "one of the boys" attacking the little people.

Am I wrong?

The link above goes to a really sad story made to sound like it has a happy ending. You see, it doesn't matter to the banksters what trauma they put the prior homeowner through, as long as when its all said and done, the home goes to a non-profit agency that will then find a deserving couple for the home?

Huh, how can that be?

How can the banks be so eager to basically give away a home in which they may have not done due diligence for the prior owner who was foreclosed upon? Something is wrong with the system above and beyond everything we are hearing about.

Either that, or, the disease that I believe that afflicts Barack Obama, Muchausen's Syndrome by Proxy, may have also permeated onto the banking industry as well.
